Effective January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer offers FBA prep services including FNSKU labeling, poly-bagging, bubble wrapping, or bundling.
Sellers shipping to Amazon fulfillment centers are now fully responsible for ensuring products meet Amazon’s prep requirements before arrival. Starting January 1, 2026, improperly prepped shipments will be rejected, delayed, or — critically — ineligible for reimbursement if damaged or lost.
Important Grace Period: Shipments created before January 1, 2026 can still use Amazon’s prep services, but any shipments created on or after January 1 must arrive fully prepped or risk rejection and loss of reimbursement eligibility.
